March 30, 2016 Microsoft announce the release of Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 at build 2016. This release focuses on stability and on responding to the feedback received on RTM and Update 1.
Release Candidate (RC): This prerelease version of the product is deemed complete and stable enough to become the release. However, we first make it available for customer evaluation.
